We collect information that you directly provide to us, as well as automatic logs generated during your usage of the CricOS application:

• Account Details: When you register an account, we collect your name, email address, password, and optional profile pictures.
• Scoring and Match Data: Information you input to record cricket matches (runs, wickets, overs, matches, player lists, and team names). This data is stored on our servers to render live scorecards for your match partners.
• Device & Usage Information: Connection details, device model, IP address, operating system, and system performance metrics used to troubleshoot and optimize server response.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is utilized to run the core features of CricOS, specifically:

• Creating and maintaining your tournament profiles, team structures, and player cards.
• Synchronizing live scoring data collaboratively across devices and matching scorers securely (using lock states).
• Providing analytics, leaderboards, and auto-generated fixture charts.
• Debugging client crashes and resolving database connection issues.

4. Security of Data

We use industry-standard security measures to safeguard your credentials and scoring records. Passwords are securely hashed, and all transactions between the CricOS mobile client and our API backend are encrypted using SSL/TLS (HTTPS). While we work to ensure robust database security, no method of transmission over the internet is completely bulletproof.

5. Data Sharing & Public Visibility

CricOS is a public scoring utility. Cricket team lists, players statistics, match scores, and tournaments schedules are intentionally visible to other users within the app. We do not sell or rent your private email addresses or registration credentials to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

6. Account Deletion and Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your account at any time. When you trigger account deletion via the CricOS app settings panel, all your personal identification metadata (including emails and profile profiles) will be immediately removed from our records. Historical scoring data created under your account will remain attributed anonymised as team match records.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your data.
